We had actually heard about Hugo for a while before we met him. People who knew about our love for past foster dog
Trixie forwarded us his info while he was with another group, and we checked in on him online from time-to-time. Eventually his rescuers asked our group to take him in... and just like destiny, one night he needed us.
Poor little Hugo had been stung by a scorpion and needed to go to the emergency animal hospital. I went to get him and brought him home to our Foster Home for more TLC. He is honestly in kind of skittish shape today... in pain, frightened, and a bit freaked out by the move. And he needed a bath right off the bat, which he didn't make him feel any more comfortable!
But we know there is great potential for this little one, and we are excited to have a chance to help him.
